Dear Community,
its time for another status update of the Council.
In the past Weeks some things happened:
Bans:
- player [Dragon~Claw]-Páinless was banned for one week due to insults. The ban has been already removed.
- player lilihammer was banned for cheating. It was the same cheat we encountered before (no acceleration time with cruise).
- player Freelancer. was banned for cheating. It was another char of -=Revenge=- & |R.D.|-MECTb ;
he was also added to our ban on sight list for repeated cheaters and will be banned without further notice/discussions.
- player Schwulibert was banned for 10 days for insulting. The ban continues to 7.06.2013
Forumbans:
Fury's Forumban executed by Nosferatu was confirmed by the Council. Fury's forum account will stay banned.
We hope that the loss of the Charmanager features will teach him the lesson not to misbehave in the forums again,
after his several past forumbans.
Council-related Stuff:
- NXS was granted a second Council Seat, Cauldron666 aka. Rainbow was named Councilmemeber.
The seat was already granted at the Council's foundation, but no Member was named until now.
- We are currently setting up some rules how to deal with inactive Council Members and how to regard Clanactivity.
RULE-CHANGES
The council discusses some changes of rules:
First, we want to redo the Rules Thread in the forum to improve clarity and make sure everyone understands
which of them are real rules and which only apply under certain circumstances (e.g. Hook down).
Furthermore all rules will be added to the thread and not only be linked in it (Multiaccount, Bugusing, Deletion of Chars, ...).
We also decided to add a new rule, concerning Char-movement/Char-restore:
Repeated Char restore requests by one player will be charged with a percentage of the ID's money in the future.
So when the Admins moved your chars because you lost your ID, please keep an eye on them the next time,
if not you will lose some of your credits.
The exact rule will be posted with the new rules thread and be active then.
I think this should be most of what has been in the last weeks. Some things i did not include yet, since they are not finished.
You will be informed when they are.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them. |

I kept my mouth shut till now and you guys dealing with cheaters and insulter is a great thing but rule and game changing stuff should be discussed in open so everyone can participate. |

We were asked by the Admins (Hora) to create such a rule, because they frequently got char movement requests by several players who lost their IDs again and again.
The rule intends to teach them that they should keep an eye on their ID's, only the repeated(!) movement of ID's will be charged with a percentage of credits.
Players who come back after a long time and want their ID's back are NOT affected, only players who lose their ID's quite regularly.
The rule would have been introduced anyway, the Admins only gave us a chance to create a rule that affects only those who are to lazy to save their ID, and not everyone who wants an ID moved.
Hope that could clarify it. The exact rule will be posted when the Rules are redone, and then it will be active. I just wanted to inform you, that there will be a rule in the future. |
