Maybe instead of talking random bullshit you should go ahead and report your problem with the global market update in a proper manner!

Indeed i bought Cardamine , checked prizes and hauled it across Sirius to find out that the prize was different as i sold it :p .
So you cant be sure what you get i think ? Its more random what you get when you reach your selling base .

Log in, then wait for the "global market updated" message, then open navmap for ny, click on manhattan and check the price for boron.
155 is standard FL, everything else is dynamic econ.

I said at several occasions that prices you see ingame with the mod are _not_ vanilla.
You can go ahead and badmouth the feature, but only if you have evidence that the problem is not at your end!

CD the prices are not random, i did not really understand the german posts on this subject so i wanted to test it for myself

I have spent 2 days docking at stations, 142 bases so far and i have another 30 or so bases to visit

Sometimes when you first log on the prices appear to be standard vanilla prices, however, this changes when you recieve the global economy update message, then the proper dynamic economy prices are shown correctly, I have also tracked some specific commodities at bases

If the base sells the item then the price has been gradually falling (unless lots of that item have been bought)

If the base buys that item then price rises unless someone is selling there

I tested selling cardamine from Beumont base (texas) to Planet houston and the price rose at Beumont while dropping at houston, I then logged on using another char, the prices did show marginally out but then showed coreectly after the global economy update message

All in I think it works well

Perhaps it will be confusing for new people who are used to the vanilla model but am sure they will get used to it quickly

Maybe an idea would be to replace the current dynamic trade missions with system genertated bonuses that displayed on console, for example "Planet leeds is now paying 700 credits extra for deliveries of diamonds" - just an idea to help new players without full maps spot juicy trade routes

Ich finde es sollte schon eine Abweichung von 60% oder mehr sein. Um so freier sich die Preise verändern können, umso realer und vor allem umso interessanter wird das ganze doch

imho schwachsinniges argument, der globale is off, neue spieler kommen nur wenn sie es wirklich total wollen, und die werden sich dann auch nich durch sowas verschrecken lassen!

möglichst wenig... abusegefahr bei bugs bzw bei unbalanced economy system.

nichts gegen deine fähigkeiten wodi, aber sollte erstmal ne weile laufen damit sich verwertbare ergebnisse abzeichnen

Komischer weise trifft man aber immer noch und nicht zu knapp "richtige Vollnoobs" an Manhattan, die es irgendwie geschafft haben den Mod zu aktivieren xD

Und da das Motto des Server's ist: 100 % Freelancer, denke ich nicht das die Preise mehr als 60% abweichen sollten. momentan sind es glaube ich auch 60 %. Finde es eigentlich gut, wie es im Moment ist.
Mehr ist für die nicht so richtigen Hardcore Trader vermutlich dann doch zu viel. Im Endeffekt ist es ja ein eher PvP basierter Server. Man soll ja nicht die ganze Zeit mit Traden verbringen.

Ein Vorteil des dynamischen Handels ist ja gerade, daß sich auch Piraten auf andere Routen einstellen müssen. Je stärker die Abweichungen der Preise nach oben oder unten ausfallen, desto höher die Wahrscheinlichkeit, daß auch die exotischste Route guten Profit abwirft.

exakt lasse! diamanten waren gestern auf ronneburg nicht am billigsten, und die top preise uf Neu Tokyo waren berets von Leeds überholt! einfach nur super, piris müssen auch bisserl was tun für ihr geld, nicht nur an der zielbase idlen und "/tax 300" eingeben :-P 50-60% bin ich total dafür.
