EVENT Jan 28th - [EG] Drunk Bear Cavalry goes for Sirius!

Hi everyone!

first of all let me introduce myself: my name is Miziricord, Russian FL player, member of Fusion Of Sense clan, basing on EG Main HQ server.
I play FL for approx 5+ yrs now, started on K-Play de #1, then settled down on EG.

Russian-EG-community outlined an idea to make an event on Hamburg Server, ofc for such event coordinator is needed and i am the one who got all fingers poined to.
Its not my first time i make events, we did a series of different tourneys\events\cap events on EG Main, including the biggest capital-class event I've ever seen ever with larget cap-slaughter (25 fighting capships + 35 small ships as support, you can have an overview at - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ggHIj5SToM&p=CD4143A89D012C26 enjoy, dont mind my voice calling targets).

So, Friday 28th is the D-Day, when we will group and make an the event.
Approx time to start is about 10pm MSK time, which is GMT+3.

Question

What to expect from us
- Certain amount of players led by personally me (approx 40 pilots are wishing to participate according to our forum list, but forum often lies as you might know. I had prev expirience with dealing 300+ ppl fleets in eve-online, so organizing people in FL is like a rest for me)
- Coordination (there will be some kind of army-style wing system, central command, tactics etc. )
- Rockets. Yeah, most of russian players use rockets as they work fine on our servers. Dont blame spam, blame microsoft instead please k thx. Rolling Eyes

What we will do:t
- We will outline targets we want to destroy\achieve (our primary targets will be posted here by me on the day of event, targets will be like "destroy base A, clear the space near planet B, regroup at C, kill base D etc. - so it will be clear to know approximately what we will do).
- We will work towards completition of these targets
- We're gonna "kill, crash and destroy"™ Rolling Eyes

in case you are a roleplayer, you can imagine that we are the band of space nomads that want to destroy humanity - thats ok Embarassed

What would be nice to have on event:
1) You! Come -> take part -> fight -> enjoy -> profit!
2) Admins supervision would be very usefil (related mostly to server's performance, for there will be lag of course. Ok, not just lag but HELLLAG. Using banhammer for the worst laggers is welcomed Twisted Evil

)
3) Alcohol! Drink, have fun, communicate, enjoy! It's friday, after all, right?
after the event i will be avail in Hamb teamspeak for any questions, suggestion on following events, drinks, etc

Please let me make myself clear: this is NOT a russian invasion, we are NOT invading Berl...eh.. Hamburg agian, we are NOT aiming to move our main efforts in FL here, BUT we do want to make the event enjoyable for everyone.
As this is not a "blow_teh_hell_of_all_you_see_yarr" event (or, at least, I do not want to make it this way), i would like to expect coordination and reasonable actions from your side.

And one more important thing: we all are reasonable people and we all know that getting 60+ ppl in one single system will cause nothing but a server crash, so please try to spread the load between different systems. From our side we will try to make the same, for ex. by knoking at two clanbase doors at the same time.
Remember - every time red lag appears, admin kills a kitten. Crying or Very sad

Save kittens - spread out!

Question

What do we expect from you:
- Being polite in terms of both common sence and server rules. (dont make "groups to defend NY from ebil russkies on patriots", this is just sick. But ofc feel free to engage any EG pilot that engages you.)
- Defence actions from everyone, will be nice to have good fights on our way to targets. You are welcomed in preparing ambushes, distruption tradelanes etc.
- Being drunk - that will make moar fun for everyone at event Twisted Evil

- Bring capships please, event is a great opportunity to use them in really big combat Embarassed

ofc we will aim to kill caps, but that is even more interesting, isnt it?

DualLancer is popular, but personally I will recommend all pilots using gun-fitted configs to avoid overlagging and for saving kittens purposes

I guess they write "we will attack the STE/USAF/FTI/etc. base" and we have to defend them. So it's HHC vs. EG when I'm getting Miziricord right.

"HHC vs. EG" is not quite right, well, at least in my opinion

such model leads to the "dead-end" in fighting - its just two bunches of people trying to kill as many others as they can (every event ends this way sooner or later lol)

For example if some clan wants to help us killing someones base - they can contact me directly and maybe we'll find touch points (in case we can't handle the defenders ourselves ofc)
such real-style relationship is more interesting in my opinion, BUT i don't mind your "HCC vs EG" version, at lease until this turns into lazy laggy fight near Creete.

Making an event "not-out-of-every-day-roleplay" would be the best option I guess.

- Targets to attack are still unclear (I will discuss them with HHC-expirienced pilots i know this weekend)
- I have no idea how many ppl from HHC side will come, could you please advise on the usual amount of ppl for such events? would be nice to have approx number..

Shes trying to say that "you cant frighten a hedgehog by showing him a naked ass" - it's a regular expression in russian

Hedgehog in russian is splled like "Ezh", so people from EG are often calld "Ezhi" (=hedgehogs), but in this particular case hedgehog is someone else ^^

Well, one target you don't need to attack is the USAF base, because there's a cruiser-bot which attacks the base the whole day long. So I guess it'll be too boring Very Happy

If you hear "Strelyaem" - that means "open fire"
if you hear "Ludi-invalidi, blya" - that means you missed "strelyaem" order or not doing what commander wants you to do.

i'm learning russian at school (at least our class is very bad xD ) but maybe i can understand a bit of what you might say on TS.

which TS server are you going to use? (i guess hc-TS?)
