ein Freund von mir macht in Englisch Facharbeit über Emos.
Dazu hat er eine Umfrage gestartet. Wäre echt nett von euch euch da zu beteiligen

Achja dieser Thread ist nicht dazu da über Emos zu diskutieren. Bitte lasst den Thread so übersichtlich wie möglich

2.Basically a Rockfan, who is perforated with Piercings and kinda wacky Hairs.The behaviour of those is quite Emotional (who`d have thought?).But actually there`s nothing spectacular about it.

Quite mixed kinds of Music.Quiet and Smooth sometimes, then again loud and Disturbing.Mostly based on Feelings (No Shit, Sherlock?!).

Stupid question. I do have some "emo" friends but that doesn't mean I can decide if I like / dislike them all ... that's like asking "Do you like people from the European Union?"

bevor ihr so überlegen müsst was ich mit mein englisch meine schreibe ich es lieber in Deutsch. Das versteht ihr zumindest besser.
und und sorry für das nachfragen. Bevor ich hier was falsch verstehe.

1 Ob ich schon mal davon gehört habe? Sicher.
2 Was für mich ein Emo ist? Eine Person die sehr auf seine Gefühle achtet und offen zeigt wie er einen anderen findet. das kann auch heißen das ein Emo einen zur begrüssung einfach küsst.
3 warum sollte man Emos nicht mögen? Sie sind mit die erlichsten Mänschen. Sicher ich würde mich in keinen verlieben. Aber als Freunde sind nette menschen.
4 ja habe ich. 2 Klassenkamaraden sind welche und auch einer meiner Trainingspartner.
5 Was für music? ich Persönlich Rock. Klingt komisch ist aber so. Kommt wahrscheinlich daher das einer von meinen Emo freunden Rammstein hört.

-> 1. Yes, I have heard of Emo's / Emotional People.
-> 2. Black hair which hides one of the eyes, black make-up (especially round the eyes), clothes are a mixture of red/black/pink, very emotional behaviour (lots of crying and sadness).
-> 3. I cannot say whether I like "Emos" or not - it depends on the person.
-> 4. I don't know anyone who is like that, so none of my friends are stereotypical "Emos".
-> 5. I associate "Bill Kaulitz" with the Emo-look and that 30 seconds to Mars did some Emo-music (although they now seem not to produce any Emo-music but more popular).

oh yes!

Emo is a special style or a special scene, mostly consisting of younger teens. It's said, that Emos express their feelings more extremly than other scenes. Their hair style is often long, blavk hair and with hair in front of the face

The music seems to be a mixture of metal- and punkrock-elements, filled in with songtexts about love, sadness etc.
Black clothes woth pink elements are typical.

Generally yes. Many emo-girls look really fine, but (for my age) thei are too young Very Happy

And i like emo-jokes. ^^
Many people don't call themselves as emo, but wear the typical style. This is often a reason for conflicts.

4.Do you have Emos in your circle of friends?
No real friends, but i know some of them.

5.What musicians do you associate with Emo?
Erm....Billy Talent? Billy Talent, and.... did I call "Billy Talent"? Mr. Green

1. Yes

2. Originally a person listening only/mainly to Emotional Hardcore Punk, but nowadays meant as one following a dresscode which is mostly black and a variation of the gothic style.

3. I don't like if they are just Emos for the sake of being one (that includes the overdressed persons). If they are just listeners of the music, I got no problem with them.

4. A few people around me do listen to the music once in a while, but I guess they don't even know that they are actually listening to Emo.

5. 30 Seconds to Mars is actually an Emo band, Bill Kaulitz is more of the stereotypical person one has in mind when hearing the term.

Kurze Anmerkung: Mit den Bezeichnungen für die Musik muss man echt vorsichtig sein. Nicht jeder der Emo hört, ist auch einer. Das ganze ist eher ein Hype bzw. eine Sammlung von Stereotypen als eine ernsthafte Einstufung der Musik.
Bullet for my Valentine ist zB Metalcore und My Chemical Romance ist ein totales Mischwerk aus Punk, Rock und ein bisschen Post Rock imo ^^
Ist zwar emotional, aber mit Hardcore Punk hats net viel zu tun
